Pedja's quick Corfu guide

This is my personal guide. I do not claim that any of my reviews are at all objective, rather they are completely subjective. So, take all of below with a pinch of salt.
I decided to start at the southern tip of the island and move upwards.

Food and beer mini guides are at the bottom.

Kavos and the South West Corfu

Kavos

Don’t go there.

As my mother in law famously described this area, this is where “drunken englishmen do drugs”. She’s not very wrong, though :) We made a mistake of going there once, and we barely made it out. It was so crowded, it was almost impossible to drive. So, my advice is don’t go there. It is basically a huge teenagers party place 24h a day. If that’s your cup of tea, go check it out. Otherwise, it’s probably best to avoid it.

South West Corfu

Not much to tell...

From Kavos northwards, the west side is not something I have much to say about. We did do a drive through a few years back, but I do not remember much of it, other than the fact that all of the beaches we visited from Potamia to Agios Gordios were very windy. I don’t like windy beaches, no matter how nice the rest may be.

Lake Korission

On my visit list...

We did not yet visit. It is listed as one of the key places to visit on Corfu, but we never got to it.

Therefore, google is your friend: https://goo.gl/wLjFvW.

Restaurant Avra Oceanos

Good food.

I do remember this restaurant as having very good food. So, if you’re nearby and hungry, you will not regret it.

It was very windy though.

To be continued...
